Jobs are approx
35% more in cost than the standard jobs. So what we have to do to be competitive
is to have 2 different price ranges. One is for a Standard job and the other
is for a Premium Job. Unless it is "specified" on the Quote, the one that you
are priced is the standard job. Most people are happy with this and we have
had no complaints, but this does not reflex on the Quality of the Preparation
or Materials,but in the amount of time and effort that goes into the finish.
For example,
Quality does not have to be lost because of the cost. We will try and match our competitor's price. This is not always possible and you could have to provide the competitors written quote if asked. We have been providing quality residential painting to the public for over 20 years as our many satisfied customers will tell you. Being from the country I still have the old fashioned approach, if it's worth doing at all, it's worth doing well.
