QUESTIONS I GET ASKED FREQUENTLY
- Q: Do
I need to send money when I accept your Quote?
- A: No
you do not have to pay any money until at the end of the first day of the Job. We
would like then to receive 20% of the total Quote. The final payment to be
made on the last day of the job. Please note: We do no have accounts.
- Q: How long
will you take to paint our house
- A:
A normal house will take approx 5 days, but larger houses may take up
to 2 weeks.
- Q: What type
and Quality of paint do you use?
- A: We only use
the best premium paint for the Job, the paints we use are paints we have
been using for many years and they have been proven over time to be
more than suitable for the task. I personally use Solver
Duraguard for all external applications. I will not use a product that is
not suitable or durable.
- Q: Will you
personally be on the Job?
- A: I am on all
jobs working and supervising all aspects of the project. Although it is not
always possible to be there 100% of the time, because we are only a small
Painting Business and ongoing Quotes are a continuous duty of mine.
- Q: Will I receive
a Guarantee with my Paint Job?
- A: I guarantee
all jobs personally for 3 years, but only Premium
Jobs get a written Guarantee for 5 years.
- Q: If there is
some touch ups, how and when can I get you to fix them?
- A: We cannot
run over to your house every time you spot a touch up, houses are so complex
and although we are very thorough, sometimes touch ups are inevitable, so
what the best thing to do is make a list over a period of a week and then
fax or mail the list and I will make sure they are done to your
satisfaction.
- Q: I found a
little miss behind a door, can I hold off payment until it is fixed.
- A: Over the
years I have found this is what people naturally do! All this does to me is
makes me think that the customer is unwilling or unable to pay. We have been
in business for a lot of years and have no intention of running out on a
little miss. Usually we have started the next job and it is inconvenient to
leave a new job and a new customer to rush over and fix a miss. How would
you like it if we ran out on you all the time instead of getting the job
done quickly? We will fix it, it could take a couple of days, instead of
demanding we immediately drop everything and rush over to spend 1 minute
touching up behind a door before you hand over the cheque. Pay your account
and use this time to browse the job and double check the work and
perhaps you might find another miss that we can fix while we are there.?
